Life as a House

George: You know the great thing, though, is that change can be so constant you don’t even feel the difference until there is one. It can be so slow that you don’t even know your life is better, or worse, until it is. Or it can just blow you away, making you something different in an instant. It happened to me.

  1. Le seul changement possible est d’essayer de s’améliorer soi même, en espérant que les autres fassent la même démarche. Et le monde ira mieux alors…

  2. The great thing about your pictures: they are somehow related to paintings. From origin I am, and still am, a painter. Although I take a lot of photo’s also. And these images, have – in colour and texture- a strong relation with paintings. That’s their extra quality. In my opinion.
I hope I made myself clear. English is not my first language (I am from the Netherlands).

  3. Hi,

The WordPress page couldn’t take my comment, so allow me to deliver my comment via email.

Nice photo: The sky is bright and clear; the calmness of the scene takes my breath.

I like your saying of “… You know the great thing, though, is that change can be so constant you don’t even feel the difference until there is one. It can be so slow that you don’t even know your life is better, or worse, until it is.” These words might sound like this quote from the film “Boyhood (I) (2014)”: “Nicole: You know how everyone’s always saying seize the moment? I don’t know, I’m kind of thinking it’s the other way around, you know, like the moment seizes us.” from this web page http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1065073/quotes.

Weekend is near; Live long and prosper.

  4. Love the image, and yes, change is constant. I don’t know about it being subtle, but it is always happening 🙂 I can feel it in my bones. Have a great day, and keep shooting with that new lens…
