fuzzy navel

IMG_1605 From the archives–no new photo this week because I slashed my finger open on a piece of glass. Blood everywhere. Now waiting until the stitches get taken out so I can move my right middle finger again. Could have been worse, but can’t help disliking being injured.

  1. Wish you a quick, smooth and full recovery from the injury; my hands get cut easily by the bushes (not the glass on the glass flowers or trees) while hiking, I thus always wear open fingertip gloves during the hike for cut, sun protection, and operating camera and binoculars .

Being a novice in photography or literature, I guess the picture shows great techniques, but wonder most of your pictures I’ve seen recently show dark colors, vs. the bright ones. Take care.

  2. First off, get better. Second, thanks for liking my post, and now that I came across your page your pictures are really beautiful!

  3. I love the drama of this photograph. The powerful patterned base and above, the flimsy theatrics of cloud. Hopoe the finger heals quickly. Cheers

  4. Great images and commentary Julia! Thanks for dropping by. Hope you weren’t traumatized by the dragons. The middle finger of the right hand is critical for communication of strong emotions. Sorry to read you are out of commission until it heals. Here’s to a speedy recovery, Cheers πŸ™‚

  5. I did click hear expecting to see a fuzzy navel(the drink not the body part) well lit and photographed!

  6. hope you took some shots of the wounded and bloody finger πŸ™‚ photographers never miss a chance, hehe. kidding. hope it did not hurt too much and won’t. get well soon πŸ˜‰

  7. Hope you’re better πŸ™‚ I love journeying and your image tempts me to do that πŸ™‚ lovely processing too πŸ™‚
