fuzzy navel
From the archives–no new photo this week because I slashed my finger open on a piece of glass. Blood everywhere. Now waiting until the stitches get taken out so I can move my right middle finger again. Could have been worse, but can’t help disliking being injured.
Reblogged this on By the Mighty Mumford.
Beautifully taken π
Thank you!
hope the finger has healed by now
Only the scar remains, and the scar is now part of me π

π
Goodness, that is a dramatic sky!
Yes indeed!
That’s an interesting artistic shot – I like the effect you have created.
Thank you!
Hope the finger feels better soon! Love the picture! π
Thanks!
Wish you a quick, smooth and full recovery from the injury; my hands get cut easily by the bushes (not the glass on the glass flowers or trees) while hiking, I thus always wear open fingertip gloves during the hike for cut, sun protection, and operating camera and binoculars .
Being a novice in photography or literature, I guess the picture shows great techniques, but wonder most of your pictures I’ve seen recently show dark colors, vs. the bright ones. Take care.
Thank you!
cut the web of my fingers on a peach can…it tingled oddly and I am a pianist and I freaked but it turned out ok…
Oh no! Nerve damage does wacky stuff!
well I didn’t have any, the tingling went away…thank god…
Good!
Awesome! Glad to connect π
Totally! Thanks!
I love the use of space in this image. Hope your finger makes a speedy and complete recovery. Looking forward to seeing more of your posts.
Thanks very much!
First off, get better. Second, thanks for liking my post, and now that I came across your page your pictures are really beautiful!
Thank you!
Very beautiful and interesting photograph. π
Thanks.
Once again, you are a photographer, with the heart of a painter π
What a lovely thing to say! Thank you very much π
I love the drama of this photograph. The powerful patterned base and above, the flimsy theatrics of cloud. Hopoe the finger heals quickly. Cheers
Thanks very much!
whoa! That sky is sick! amazing capture π
Thanks!
Que pena saber que te lastimaste, ojalΓ‘ que te recuperes pronto, lo bueno es que tu material de respaldo tambiΓ©n es muy bueno. CuΓdate.
Muchas gracias π π π
De nada Julia ππΉ
Great images and commentary Julia! Thanks for dropping by. Hope you weren’t traumatized by the dragons. The middle finger of the right hand is critical for communication of strong emotions. Sorry to read you are out of commission until it heals. Here’s to a speedy recovery, Cheers π
Thanks very much! The middle finger is indeed very important for communication π
I did click hear expecting to see a fuzzy navel(the drink not the body part) well lit and photographed!
I could use a fuzzy navel. Alas, none in sight.
