the son of a preacher man
Beautiful photograph! Love that song of Dusty Springfield!
Thank you! Also love that song 🙂
Spectacular photo and composition – Nice!
Oh, this is glorious!!! 😊💖
Aw thanks Trini!
PS. It also amazes me as a demonstration as to how the human mind works.
What connected the song/title to your photo?
What connects most of your titles to your photographs?
No-one knows actually. I would never have connected the song to the beach/sea, and you have.
Dusty springfield. 1968 or ’69.
Wayyyyy before your time.
You put as much work in your titles as you do in your pictures. A lot.
‘Like the combination (copy/visual) very much. Thank you for both.
Thank you very much Brian! That song blows my mind every time!
Mary O’Brien, AKA Dusty Springfield (Rest her soul) was not even 30 when she released that song. And picture the late 60’s when the song came out. It made a bit of a scandal in some circles. Love it.
Wow, I can’t even imagine.
Yes, I imagine you can’t. This world, your world and that world are now light-years away.
Those were the days. 🙂
Remain but a (few) lovely song(s), and your photo as a tribute to a great singer.
Thanks for resolving this riddle for me. So I am quiet and listen to this: “Dusty Springfield – Son of a preacher man” on Youtube.com: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dp4339EbVn8.
What do you think of the song, Ren?
Love the composition.
Unusual and lovely photo…
Thank you Paula!
