Smoke everything inside with every girl I’ve ever loved
Ride around the wreckage on a horse knee-deep in blood”

Thank you again!
Love this image!
Lots of food for thought, both visually and “writtenly”.
Looked the artist up. Didn’t know him. Watched the video. Loved it.
(Nothing reminiscent of a wreck in your own life I hope?)
Words that came to my mind as I first saw your post:
“Show me the way to the next whiskey bar”. 🙂
(Oh don’t ask why…)
Thanks Brian! He’s fantastic, part of Fleet Foxes. I love the comparison you drew there, never would have thought of that myself! Haven’t listened to The Doors in a while and you’ve inspired me to go back. And in regards to your question, haven’t we all been there at some point :)? Not currently there which I’m grateful for.
🙂 The Romans had a saying to the effect that doom, (or wreck) was just around the corner from success. Which is fine. All that matters is how you deal with “wreck”. never let it get to you. And I’m glad about the “not currently there”. Are you enjoying holidays/break from school for Easter? To recharge batteries? Take care Julia. (And enjoy the Doors)
Hah, love that quote! Attitude certainly makes or breaks the experience. Sometimes I get so stressed out and need to remind myself that this is all supposed to be fun. After all, you only live it once. Just started school again after a nice break, really excited to be on a transplant unit for my final quarter! How’re you? How’s Mexico?
Final quarter? Wow. Transplant? Re-wow.
Fine here. There is so much violence worldwide that it makes Mexico look tame in comparison. (Which it is not, violence is the same, but no bombs…) Take care Julia, and keep wearing your last name proudly.
Thanks Brian, will do! Stay safe and have fun!
Merci. Toi aussi
That is one hell of a shot…I love it.
It might be prudent to give Josh credit where credit is due…
Totally! Thank you for catching that.
I love Father John Misty, btw…Have a great day!
Same! Thanks, you too!
Too deep for me. Explain?
don’t you love ambiguity?!
