ah, the point… refreshing. Surprising but then again no… thank you
Hey Julia, thanks for dropping by at my blog! I didn’t expect people to be reading my posts. Hope you enjoyed that piece of writing. 🙂
Cheers,
Jasmine
Happily! Cheers! Julia
Hi Julia,
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I love your photos. They are very subtle and are taken from very interesting perspectives. Look forward to seeing more,
Laura
Thank you, Laura! I enjoyed exploring your blog!
Always a pleasure to wander through your visions… delightfully playful sense of colour with a weighty take on composition.
Thank you, Patrick!
You are most and deservedly welcome. : )
I find your photos inspiring so I follow you
Thank you so much!
Thanks for liking one of my posts! Someone of your wordpress caliber means alot!
Your images have a certain “different” something that is most appealing.
Thank you!
Just discovered your blog and it looks awesome! 🙂
Thank you Bora!
Hi Julia. Got your latest post in the mail. Great (self) portrait and “light”.
You do have an eye.
Why the title? (Hope it doesn’t reflect on a personal event)
🙂
But… I couldn’t access the post. Y’know: error 404, yarayara.
Have a nice week
Brian
Thank you Brian! I am too shy to keep a self portrait up, so I yanked it. Hope your week is fantastic, cheers!
Well, don’t be shy. Your self-portrait was great. You are pretty. 🙂
Why are women always dissatisfied with their own image? A century-old thing I guess.
‘t’s all right I still have the mail. Haha!
‘hope your week is more or less night shift free. Be good, and keep sharing good pix. (And good titles. That’s half the work, ain’t it?)
Aw, thanks Brian. You may have convinced me to throw it back up. We’ll see. Have a solid week coming up. Hope your week is stunningly fantastic!
I like the vocabulary: Yanked it. Throw it back up… Are you a baseball fan? 😉
Anyways, do. The photo is very good.
I hope a solid week is not too compact.
Look forward to this week, daughter #1 has just arrived back from London. Daughter #2 has been back a month. So tonite will be the first full family reunion in over a year. 🙂
(Try to liquify your week and take care)
Enjoy the precious time with family. I’m a baseball fan when there’re beer and friends around. 😉
Haha! Well I hope you will have plenty of the latter (beer and friends) this week-end, and no night/week-end shift.
Be good Julia
Thanks Brian. Will be good 😉
Enjoy the beer, and above all the friends. 🙂
You have a clever title and unusual images! Thanks for calling by.
Thank you!
Hi Julia,
First of all, thanks for the LIke of my blog and my ‘Bali Indah’ book. I took a look at your site here. I don’t know, there is something quite ‘radical’ about you. Keep up doing, whatever you are doing.
Thanks again.
Cheers,
ingojez

Julia, I love your work. Hope to see it collected. I’m in Seattle and I relate to your point of view.
Thanks so much Henry!
Henry–what does ‘hope to see it collected’ mean? Excuse my ignorance 🙂
Hey Julia, I just meant that I hoped to see your work in a book. I may take you up on your offer to use one of your images (with credit to you and link) in a future post.
Oh I see, thanks Henry! I’d be honored if you’d like to use one of my images in a post 🙂
Thank you. I’ll let you know.
Just posted an essay with one of your photos! I think it turned out pretty cool.
Wow, thanks! I really enjoyed reading about your perspective! Do you have any advice on turning some of my photos into a book? I have no clue where to start in terms of how to get it done, which photos to choose, etc. I figure it would never sell so I see the point as just having it exist. Any and all insight welcome! Thank you again very much 🙂
Hey Julia, really appreciate your response. Well, you’re definitely right to have them up for everyone to see. I would suggest a collection under one theme. You could have it all evoking a certain mood too. I’d be happy to meet up sometime and go through your work with you. Otherwise, I’m sure you’ll find your way. Think of how you look at Seattle, from your particular point of view. You can take that certain style and way of seeing things and carry it over to other subjects as you keep growing.
Thanks very much!
Julia, great stuff on your site. What’s your story? Maybe you should artist’s bio to your blog (or did I miss it?). I’m from Washington myself, and thus see things that are familiar in ways, but you are presenting them beautifully. I like the concept of writing with light and also like a lot of the authors you’re quoting. In short: much appreciated! Tim Schilling
Hi Tim, Thanks for the feedback and the kind words. I will consider adding a bio! Cheers! Julia

Thank you for calling past my Photo Morsels blog and liking my latest post. I gather from your own blog that you live in or around Seattle. Lovely place that I have visited briefly a couple of times for work related purposes.
Beautiful soft light there for photography, so unlike the intense and harsh light we have down here from late spring through to mid autumn.
such a great and inspiring work 🙂 keep on going 🙂 PedroL
